Long-acting clay stabilizer ALPHASHELL-M
It is a cationic type reagent and is used as a permanent clay inhibitor in the form of an additive for water-based drilling fluids during reconstruction and drilling of oil wells. The components of the reagent are completely bound to the clays as a result of the adsorption process with the surface layer. It can be used in well completion fluids and is compatible with most drilling reagents.
According to the test results, it was found that the reagent in its effectiveness is comparable to a 72% solution of choline chloride and has a higher efficiency than a 6% solution of potassium chloride at a dosage of 7 l/m³ of drilling mud.
The recommended dosage of the reagent is from 1.5 to 6.5 l/m³ and requires clarification based on the results of laboratory tests.
