Wetting anti-seize compound ULTIMASURF
It is used to reduce the surface tension of all water-based mud systems and to reduce the tendency to stick hydrophilic clay deposits.
Can be added to any water-based drilling fluid. Mainly used when drilling the upper section of the wellbore, minimizes rock build-up on the bit and BHA, reduces surface tension and separates sand and solids. Works well as an emulsifier to improve the emulsion properties of oil and reduce the viscosity of oil-contaminated solutions. Reduces torque and tightening torque, even when there is almost no oil in the solution.

The standard dosage is between 0.4 and 0.75 kg/m³ and provides good performance in most conditions. In areas with heavy shale, a concentration of 12 to 18 kg/m³ is recommended to minimize clumping on the bit and BHA; higher concentrations can cause foaming and the need for antifoam. ULTIMASURF is effective in all water-based systems, including fresh and sea water, saturated brines.
