Liquid acid breaker ALPHAMILL

Used in guar-based or modified guar-based fracturing fluids. It is produced in three grades differing in application temperature: grade A - in the range of reservoir temperatures 70-100 °C, grades B and V - in the range 85-105 °C.
The reagent gradually releases atomic oxygen and lowers the pH of the system.

The degradation time of the system depends on the amount of reagent dosage, which can vary: for grade A - from 0.1 to 2.0 l/m³, for grades B and V - from 0.5 to 2.0 l/m³ and largely depends on the primary pH of the crosslinked gel, as well as on the type of fracturing fluid system and formation temperature. Determination of the required concentration requires laboratory tests.

Benefits of ALPHAMILL
  • Used in all borate-crosslinked guar frac fluids
  • It can act as both a main breaker and an additive
  • Effectively improves formation permeability by breaking up the mud cake
  • Can be tailored to specific well conditions
